The Usana MagneCal D product comes loaded with 1:1 dose (by weight) of magnesium and calcium, fortified with additional Vitamin D to support the absorption of the minerals.
The product comes with both the mineral magnesium and calcium salts (in the form of carbonates) and the chelate version (in the form of citrates). The chelates help to maintain the solubility of the magnesium and calcium in the blood and prevent precipitation as stones, while the carbonates are used to reduce the total size of the tablet that is required.
It is also recognised by NSF for Sport as a supplement that is safe for professional athletes to consume without risking their professional careers.
